StreetTales is an urban non-profit project involving everyone arround the globe.

Imagine streets had eyes and could witness everything that happens on them. Streets see, hear and memorize everything:

• that day when your friend sat down on the border and started crying
• the moment when all of your friends came arround the corner with a huge birthday cake and sand you “Happy Birthday”.
• you, coming tired from work and thinking, whether to quit your job or not.
• kids playing arround the block.

Streets witness dozens of sad, happy, strange, frustrating or joyful stories. We’d like to give them the change of telling their stories. In order to do so, we need your help.

“How can I add my contributions to Street Tales?”

• add a street to our database: take pictures of street signs and mail them to us! We’ll then add them to the StreetTalling Project.
• give streets a voice, contribute with your own street story. In order to do so, click on the desired street, scrool town and submit your story through the form below “Write a street tale“.

Please note that Street Tales is currently running in beta testing. If you encounter any bugs, please report them through the contact form.
